Each year the BFBS Big Salute Committee meet to discuss the applications received. They consider all applications on merit, impact and measurable outcomes and make the awards accordingly. The Committee’s decision is final.
The Big Salute is now accepting grant applications. The application window closes on 31st July 2026.
The BFBS Big Salute is our annual campaign that raises vital funds for armed forces charities and is separate to grants awarded under the BFBS Welfare Fund scheme.
Each year we invite forces charities to apply for grants to support specific projects for the serving military, families or veterans with every penny raised goes to the beneficiary projects.
