Nicky Ness

Director, Forces Broadcasting and Entertainment

Nicky Ness heads up the department which is focussed on delivering morale, welfare and entertainment services around the forces world - so there's never a dull day.

Having travelled to and lived within military communities throughout her career, initially as a broadcaster herself and more recently in managing a wide portfolio - delivering services that make a difference to the audiences' life is what motivates her on a daily basis.

Angie Avlianos

Events Manager

Angie is responsible for finding and booking all our wonderful BFBS Live Events (formerly CSE) talent.

With a 25-year entertainment career she is perfectly placed to advise you on the right type of act for your event.

She’s also an experienced tour manager who’s travelled extensively around the globe managing large groups of people in some of the world’s more lively war zones.

Sakina Bugge

Events and Marketing Co-ordinator

You name it, Sakina can do it and she has the credentials with over a decade of experience with BFBS Live Events from full planning and logistics of events to poster, flyer and merchandise design, talent spotting and tour and stage management.

Sakina loves creativity and has a real flair for detail and bringing everything together to create the perfect event experience.

She is unflappable in any event situation, keeping a calm level head and a big smile to ensure the extra mile is taken and expectations excelled.

Originally from a background in hospitality, tourism and consultancy, Jacob uses all his experience to help shape the events he plans to your needs. Always going above and beyond and never one to shy away from any task that needs doing. He will make sure your event’s planning process is as easy as possible and the actual event is remembered by all that attend.
