We’re currently looking for Freelance Video Producers for Forces News, which provides’ editorially independent news and sport to the British Military around the world, with over 2 million subscribers and followers across social media.
As a Freelance Video Producer, you’ll bolster our existing in-house team of journalists and content-makers and be involved in writing and picture-sourcing for ‘The Download’, our daily digital news update, produce social videos based on our original feature content, and support our video feature production team.
You will have a journalism degree or similar professional qualification, and it would also be beneficial to have current experience of working in a newsroom. Knowledge of the UK Armed Forces and defence isn’t essential, but you will need to demonstrate experience of video storytelling editing, and ability to write video news scripts. You will also have knowledge of editing tools, such as Premier Pro, Photo Shop, GFX and audio databases.
Freelance shifts will be offered from Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm or 9:00am – 5:00pm, based at our Head Office at Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire.
